Peter B. York is Senior Advisor at Gordon Brothers supporting the executive team with the firm’s growth and expansion plans. Peter provides advice and counsel, assists with evaluating capital deployment for the global lending practice, gives strategic and tactical advice on loan product structuring, and supports data strategy deployment.

Peter has over 30 years of secured asset-based lending, capital markets and secured lending experience. His expertise includes large multibank syndicated financing, cross-border structuring, leveraged buyout finance, and bankruptcy and debtor-in-possession financing.

Prior to joining Gordon Brothers, Peter was the managing director of originations and structuring within JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s global asset-based lending practice. He was previously the vice president of Heller Financial and Provident Bank.

Peter has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The Ohio State University where he is an adjunct professor of finance. Peter is the former president of Secured Finance Network (SFNet) and currently serves as the research chair for the SFNet Foundation. He is based in Ohio.
