Kevin Durkin is Managing Director, Diligence Services at Gordon Brothers. Kevin leads the firm’s field examination and diligence services, providing credit risk support to lenders, investors and operators in North America.

He has over 30 years of experience in the asset-based lending industry with deep expertise in secured loan due diligence, collateral monitoring and fraud investigation.

Kevin founded Durkin Group, a leading professional services firm that provided credit risk support for the secured finance industry acquired by Gordon Brothers. Prior to Durkin Group, Kevin founded, developed and managed the lender services practice at an international professional services firm. He was previously an adjunct associate professor of accounting and finance at New York University.

Kevin has a Bachelor of Science from Villanova University and Master of Business Administration in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a frequent speaker on secured loan collateral analysis and related topics. Kevin is based in New Jersey.
