Durien Sanchez is Managing Director, Retail at Gordon Brothers. He partners with retail clients navigating changes to their business and develops and executes visionary strategies to reduce costs, optimize sales and streamline operations across organizations.

Durien serves as a merchant for a variety of retail sectors with an emphasis on department and specialty stores and leads the augment process. Additionally, he focuses on business development, which includes developing new retail deals and managing existing client relationships.

Durien has nearly 20 years of experience in the retail industry including high-impact sales, promotions, restructuring and store closures. He has extensive expertise in developing and optimizing organizational processes, analysis and infrastructure to maximize revenue.

Prior to joining Gordon Brothers, Durien managed operations at a Gordon Brothers’ financed company and was a general merchandise lead consultant. He is based in Boston.
