Ben Olushola is Managing Director, Lead Transaction Counsel, EMEA & APAC at Gordon Brothers. Ben leads the firm’s legal transaction team focused on deal strategy, structure and risk across transactions in EMEA and APAC, including investments, transactions, credit/underwriting, risk management, portfolio matters and international expansion, while overseeing transaction disputes and litigation across both regions.

Ben has over 15 years’ experience of cross-border financing, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and insolvency handling complex financings, acquisitions and disposals.

Prior to joining Gordon Brothers, Ben was head of legal for a privately-owned special situations asset manager and investment company and managing associate in the restructuring and insolvency practice at the multinational law firm Linklaters LLP.

In 2022 Ben was named as one of the American Bankruptcy Institute’s 40 Under 40 honorees. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leeds and is a Solicitor-Advocate of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. Ben is based in London.
