Gordon Brothers was chosen as the highest bidder at Corwood Laboratories’ bankruptcy auction and was tasked with disposing of a large quantity of environmentally sensitive health, cosmetic, and veterinary products with a 90 day timeframe. Our experience in the sector reinforced our confidence in purchasing the machinery, equipment, and inventory, disposing of the assets and then cleaning the facilities even given the environmental sensitivity and aggressive timing demands.

We leveraged our network of consumer products professionals to monetize the inventory of finished goods as well as a large quantity of raw materials used in the production process.  Within the three months, we successfully sold all chemical, packaging, inventory, and machinery and equipment to surplus chemical dealers through both negotiated sales and a live two-day auction process.
