– Gordon Brothers Group, a global advisory, restructuring and investment firm specializing in the retail, consumer products, industrial and real estate sectors today announced its 15th Annual Charity Golf Tournament will take place on July 21st at the Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth, MA.
The tournament benefits The Philip and Bernice Frieze Fund at Children’s Hospital which helps ease the financial and emotional burden that many families encounter during the painful experience of dealing with a child’s serious illness. Since its inception, The Frieze Fund has surpassed the million dollar mark and has helped over 5,000 patient families.
“This event is very special to all of us at Gordon Brothers Group,” said Michael Frieze, Chairman, Gordon Brothers Group. “It started over 30 years ago when my parents, Phil and Bernice Frieze, became involved at Children’s Hospital Boston. They saw families that were facing not only serious illness, but in many cases, financial and emotional crises. Having two healthy children of their own, my parents wanted to help ease the burden that these families were facing. The Frieze Fund was born.”
“We appreciate the dedication, support, and commitment of our corporate sponsors,” said Lawrence Siff, a Principal and Managing Director at Gordon Brothers Group and head of the 15th Annual Charity Golf Tournament. “It is wonderful to join prominent leaders in the business community to benefit this worthy cause that positively impacts over 500 families each year.”
